We just returned from Staten Island, where we performed on the Johnny P Late night show - a Staten Island favorite, and also in Seaford, Delaware. Even though the visits were short, I felt like we spent some quality time in both places.

We took off to the island of Nantucket on Saturday morning. This is one special island with people coming to the same place to vacation for years. The band all arrived about 3:00 on the ferry.

I headed to the east coast beaches this past week. It reminded me of the music video we shot last June for Simple Touch. I was able to capture a few dolphins on camera, although they were being slightly shy. When I came back to DC, I headed to studio to begin another adventure in song writing.

Last night, we played at the Gaylord in Orlando. Boy, did we rock the house. We had so much fun ... it's hard to believe this leg of the tour is almost over. This week, we have played in Miami, Palm Beach, Tampa and Orlando.

My eyes are so sleepy. We definitely have pushed it hard the last two days. After leaving Dallas and arriving mid way to Lincoln at 430AM - we played our hearts out that evening in Lincoln. Following the gig, we got a total of 4 hours sleep - just in time to drive back down south to Wichita, Kansas.

New Year's Eve at the Gaylor was so much fun! I believe there were 5000 people at the Resort. We were lucky to have a somewhat smaller room to perform in so we could see everyone fully dressed in their party hats.

I was able to talk Hunter Bevis into a short interview with me on the VA News Channel this past weekend. Matt and I played our newest song: Rainy Days and Mondays.
